Tai Chi is based on tenets of the taoist philosophy and a meditative excercise to promote longevity. A series of slow movements associated with breathing stimulates the flow of chi (vital energy), which circulates through the internal organs and produces a state of deep relaxation.
The Tong Ping (Peacock of the Orient) style taught at our school is a branch of the Wu style.

Kung Fu classes
Sifu Gabrielle offers Kung Fu classes in the pure tradition of the art of Choy Li Fut, aiming to reach perfection in the art by mastering barehanded forms and weapon-handling. The tiger, the crane, the dragon, the snake and the leopard are the five basic animals upon which true Shaolin Kung Fu arises from.
Five months of basic exercises precedes the learning of the forms. Following Chinese tradition, there are no belt classifications. The teachings are individualized and each student is incited to surpass themselves.
